With 7 years of professional experience in JavaScript, React, Node, and MongoDB, and a newfound expertise in DynamoDB, I specialize in building efficient, scalable solutions that tackle real-world problems. My career started with automating tasks that saved my team hundreds of hours, and since then, I’ve been combining my engineering and teaching skills at App Academy, where I developed MERN stack and data structure/algorithm curriculums. I thrive on turning complex challenges into streamlined, innovative solutions, and I’m eager to bring that same drive and expertise to a dynamic team ready to push the boundaries of technology.
Company has shifted away from Ruby on Rails and more toward Python/Flask at this point. Consistently ranked as a top performer. Continued to teach, build internal tooling, and develop curriuculum. Played critical role in implementing MERN stack curriculum. Used JSForce to automate many work flows, including notetaking with students, allowing instructors to take on double their original caseloads
After attending App Academy as a student. I received an offer to teach at a competitor in the Bay Area. Instead I took that offer and leveraged it for a role with a/A. Working here is where my skills really started to accelerate. Created tests, lectures, apps, and instructional videos designed to teach students the ins and outs of Javascript, PostgreSQL, React, Redux, and Ruby on Rails
Still getting my feet wet with the industry. Did some contracting work this year building websites for one of my old bosses. I also attended a bootcamp to learn the ins and outs of pro development. Mostly working in JS, HTML, & CSS.
The beginining of my career and my first foray into programming. In this role I automated over 100 hours of data entry work per week using Python.
